Pagham Beach Café – on your doorstep, especially good for breakfast.

Runcton Farm shop and café – selling local produce, with a deli counter, butchery and café.

Crab & Lobster - for a special meal out, the Crab & Lobster is a beautiful pub on the shores of Pagham Harbour in Sidlesham. For the adventurous, you can choose to walk there (approx. 50-60 mins) around the back of the harbour.

Small Fry, Pagham – best place around for fish & chips. A short walk from Windy Ridge.

Crown & Anchor, Dell Quay – wonderful location on Chichester Harbour specialising in local, seasonal seafood.

The Bear, The Lamb and The Lion – all good pubs close by in Pagham.

Vineyards in West Sussex – there are many vineyards locally, notably Tinwood, Kingscote and Bolney Estates.

Pagham Arcade – vintage slot machines and coin pushers from the 1950’s – will keep the whole family entertained.

Miniature golf – Bognor Regis (opposite the pier). A great day out – play a game of crazy golf, have a stroll along the promenade followed by an ice cream on the pier.

Jungle Paradise Adventure Golf (Hunston) – Great fun for all the family – indoor and outdoor options.

Goodwood Estate

• Goodwood House – get a guided tour to explore the home of the Duke of Richmond. It has an outstanding art collection.
• Goodwood events include The Festival of Speed (motorsports), Glorious Goodwood (horse racing), Goodwood Revival (1940’s, 50’s and 60’s motorcar racing) and Goodwoof (dog festival).
• Goodwood experiences - for example driving, flying and golfing.
• Golf – Two 18-hole golf courses and a short game area.
• Goodwood has a number of places to eat and drink as well as a farm shop and health spa.

South Downs National Park

• Walking and cycling – explore the South Downs Way National Trail that runs 100 miles from Winchester to Eastbourne.
• Weald and Downland Living Museum – over 50 historic buildings, rescued from various sites, provide the setting for an interactive way to discover England’s rural history.
• Amberley Museum – connect with the South’s working past and see remnants of its industrial heritage.
• Gilbert White’s House & Gardens – nestled in the South Downs National Park, hosting family activities and events throughout the year.

Chichester

• Chichester Cathedral – historic cathedral blending Norman and Gothic architecture in the centre of Chichester.
• West Dean Gardens – Garden estate with Victorian Glasshouses, diverse plant life, scenic walking paths and woodland trails. Good for a picnic.
